No, this is not a hop-on, hop-off tour. Many cities do have trolleys that do such tours where they circulate all day to the many tourist attractions of their cities. We do have 3 stops on this tour but you’ll stay together with the group at each.
This is a new, unique, one-of-a-kind experience unlike any tour or trolley ride that you’ve ever taken before. While trolleys in other cities take you to and from the attractions, the Salt Lake Trolley IS itself an attraction. We call it a “show-tour” where the trolley is like a theatrical stage where most of the magic happens. Be prepared for something you’ve never seen before!

The Trolley Adventure Tour of Salt Lake City is a one-of-a-kind experience that blends a sightseeing tour of downtown SLC with music, skits and stories that are entertaining for all ages. There are two musical, theatrical performers acting as your guides plus a trolley conductor behind the wheel, all three are in fantastical costumes. This is the perfect way for families, groups and light-hearted fun-seekers to travel through time. While there are 3 stops for photos, most of the fun on this tour happens inside this beautifully restore vintage trolley bus.
Our Salt Lake City Bus Tour is a terrific comprehensive overview of the city that travels a 20-mile loop and includes time off the bus at several locations. It’s great for those who like traditional guided tours; history-lovers and those who want to see all the highlights of SLC will find it to be ideal.

Walking is very minimal on the Trolley Tour.

There are typically 3 brief stops including the Utah Capitol, historic Union Pacific Train Depot, and Cathedral of the Madeleine.
About 2/3 of the tour time is spent aboard the trolley as that’s where most of the entertainment takes place. This is a one-of-a-kind sightseeing experience that isn’t merely transportation around the city. Rather than taking you around too all the various attractions of SLC, the Trolley itself and what happens inside it IS the attraction! Think of the trolley as the stage of a theater and you’ll understand what we mean.

Space is VERY limited on this vintage restored trolley, there is no room for wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, car seats, luggage or large bags. Please leave all those items in your hotel or car. We simply don’t have space for them.
